Here’s what went down during the Induction of Officers and Oath-taking Ceremony of the 2024-2025 UPAA Iloilo Chapter Board of Trustees held on October 27, 2024 at the UPV Little Theatre.
It was an intimate gathering attended by UP Visayas officials led by Chancellor Clement C. Camposano, UPAAIC past presidents and other past members of the BOT, Office of Alumni Relations, well-wishers from iAMUPhi and UPAA Capiz Chapter, and family and friends.
This year’s keynote speaker is UPAA President and UP Alumni Regent Mr. Robert Lester F. Aranton. The inducting officer is newly-installed Judge Roy M. Villa of MCTC Branch 9 in Zarraga-New Lucena-Leganes, Iloilo. Turning over the helm to 2024-2025 UPAAIC President Atty. Joseph Anthony “Jojo” H. Lutero was Atty. Gaudioso “Didoy” Geduspan II, representing his wife Ms. Consuelo “Colcol” R. Geduspan, UPAAIC President 2023-2024. The event was hosted by BOT Member Joseph “Bonnie” L. Ladrido.
Not only was it a night of fellowship; it was also a night of united goals for the UP alumni community.
