The University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA) will conduct a virtual seminar on Basic Employee Rights on Wednesday, October 30, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM via the Zoom platform. The seminar will feature legal expert Atty. Alvin Liao Alburo.
Atty. Alburo is a practicing lawyer and the Managing Partner of Alburo Alburo and Associates Law Offices. His extensive practice areas include labor relations law, corporate law, and intellectual property law, through which he provides legal services to diverse industries.
Atty. Alburo is also the Chair and President of Yangtze Business Solutions Corporation and a Senior Lecturer at the School of Labor and Industrial Relations of the University of the Philippines Diliman (UP SOLAIR), where he teaches Labor Law and serves as a resource person at the School’s Workers’ Institute on Labor Laws (WILL).
Atty. Alburo earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines and Arellano University School of Law, respectively. He further advanced his legal education by obtaining a Master of Laws degree from San Beda University Graduate School of Law.
